Match to Live: Lighting
(VSFX-316, Bridget Gaynor, Winter 2024)

For this project, we were tasked to integrate a 3D model with a real-life image, matching reflections, shadows and geometry.

During the project, we utilized techniques such as a chrome ball to capture reflections, and a cube to match perspective. I then composited the 3D object from Maya using Nuke. The composited layers included the phone charger and claw, as well as 7 layers of shadow.
